I've been producing and engineering for 6 years now. I've worked on TV - The Shield and The Disctrict at Sonic Surgery, Todd AO Studios, Wilshire Studios, etc. - Independent films (sound editing and scoring) and 5 albums front to back (producing, recording and mixing) such as Duece "Brookfield California" and Danny From Sobrante's "The Lions Den". I've also produced and engineed for coutless different artists from hip-hop to r&b. Put simply...I love music and love sound and taking my work past any limits. My Interests

Music:

Band Website: cmajorproduction.com
Influences:

Quincy Jones

Hands down the most incredible producer since George Martin. During the production of Thriller they recorded over 60 songs for that album to get 9. PYT wasnt even on the original. The record was mastred twice. Thats a perfectionist.

Dr Dre

The hip-hop producer known for perfection. For Busta Rhymes last album they recorded over 80 songs to get the ones you hear now...thats perfection. You can hear songs that were supposed to make The Detox on Busta Rhymes album The Big Bang, 50 Cents FIRST album Get Rich Or Die Tryin and The Games debut album The Documentary. Plus what else do I gotta say other than The Chronic and Chronic 2001. 2 Albums, 2 Classics. Thats perfection.

Motzart

A man who wrote almost 40 symphonies by the time he was 30...because he loved it. And you can hear the love in the music he wrote. He died poor and was buried in an unmarked grave. Now THAT is for the love of music.

Ray Charles

Yes. Ray Charles was a producer besides being an incredible piano and keyboard player. How man lives blind in its self is amazing. But he came from nothing and became inspiration all of us. Not because he was blind...but because he was Ray Charles.

Green Day

2 Words...American Idiot. One of the most incredible albums ever made. From song wrting to sonic amazement. The recordings are just absolutely incredible and the vocal melodies are timeless. This is an album that makes you want to thank the Rock Gods for blessing us with this band. Besides that, they are from the bay.

Tupac Shakur

Whats a list of hip-hop influences without 2pac or Biggie? Biggie was the man with the killer flow, but Tupac is the reason I listen to hip-hop today. Someone who spoke his mind and was ready for any consoquence. Someone who had a real reason he was rapping, and it wasnt to get rich quick. With the most confident delivery to ever bless a microphone, Tupac made you believe everything he said. Thats what an artist should be.
