I started Komon as an organbased project in 2001 recorded on a casette 4-tracker. Sometimes buy new equipment but it always break and I end up not being able to claim warranty for it, so I have to trust old organs and casios and the 4-tracker that is now a 3-tracker (yes, is't a bit broken aswell). After I finished the Silly Girl EP, I made and electroflirt with Haddaways What is Love, but I was listening alot to tweepop and c86 music so finally I had to pic up the guitar. That with some electronic beat is what Komon is in 2008. At the moment I am attempting to make electrotwee.
So far I have recorded:
2001: Dance Shool, Kassette with 6 tracks, Pay Your Own Funeral-Records
2004: Is Common in Japan, CD-R with 11 tracks, Pay Your Own Funeral-Records
2005: Silly Girl EP, CD-R with 4 tracks, Pay Your Own Funeral-Records
2006: This Is Love, various artists on a CD-r release with cover of the classic Haddaway dance hit What is Love. 1 track out of 11 in total. Other featured artists, Bare Knees, Don Agbai, Otur, Mexicos and some others. Released by Dig Your Own Grave-Records.
2007: Punk EP with 3 tracks, (CLOUD 056) 3 Inch Cd on CLOUDBERRY RECORDS
v/a Nothing Matters When We're Dancing EP (CLOUD 502) 3 Inch Cd on CLOUDBERRY RECORDS With Soda Fountain Rag, The Jealous Sea, Sunny Summer Day and The Pristines. I've contributed with the song "Something in My Eyes".
You can order the Silly Girl EP(cd-r), by sending â‚¬3 to my adress or to my paypal account. It includes the four tracks: Are We Friends, Some Words, I'm gone and Throwing Stones. I am using an elka 705-x organ on the 3 first tracks and a software for techno producers on the fourth track, to give you a clue about how it sounds.
