We are three friends based in Belfast & London & will be putting out a number of limited 7"s by new and established artists.
Swedish based Antonia Pehrson's Komon is our latest release, with the brilliantly catchy 'E-bay Watchlist'. Antonia plays self styled electrotwee on a collection of old organs and Casio's and a broken 4 track. "Ebay Watchlist" is her glorious paen to the joys of vintage threads in manilla parcels and hanging out.

Our second release was from Manchester's Help Stamp Out Loneliness's homage to 'Torvill & Dean.' HSOL a six-piece gender symmetric band from Manchester, who just happen to be in the trade of manufacturing heartbreakingly delicious pop. Lead singer D. Lucille's lush Nico-esque vocals glide across a velvetine backdrop of driving guitars and organs to create the perfect dancefloor magnet. Although still loyal to the indie-pop sound of former band 'Language of Flowers', HSOL have side stepped the cardigans & hair-clips of the twee movement [but kept the Casio and hand-claps] and merged the sounds of the Siouxsie & the Banshees and The Marine Girls with early Stereolab and The Pale Saints. With tours in Europe this Summer and festivals in Autumn, 2009 promises to be a very eventful year for Papillons Noirs favourite new signing.
