His career started Atlanta, GA back in the late 80's when he saw DJ Skribble on MTV and wondered if he could do that. His roommate was a wedding DJ and had turntable that he use to setup on his ironing board when the roommate was going trying to recreate what he had heard DJ Skribble do on TV. What started as buying 2 records to try something just to see if he could do it turned in to his passion. He made a few cassettes for a friend to play and he love them. He loved them so much he played them for the owner of a local teen club he attended were he and his friends entered dance contest. The resident DJ and the owner had words and he left the club in the middle of the set. The owner remembering that he had heard the cassette Jeffery made immediately ran to ask him to finish out the night. Jeffery replied, I've only played on the ironing board in my room never for people. Nervous as all hell he stepped up and played the rest of the night. And that's how his career started. He was hired as the resident of the teen club. After that, he moved Myrtle Beach, SC where he would become an instant star playing in one of the top dance clubs, Xanadu in Myrtle Beach. There he became the resident DJ and wowed the audience with his Mixture of Top 40, Hip Hop, and Dance for 3 yrs. While all the time playing at Xanadu on Friday nights, he was also the resident DJ at Offshore Drilling Company the hottest gay dance club in the city on Saturday nights. His love for music and his quest for his own unique sound was the driving force to see if he could entertain 2 different groups with one sound, and to his surprise he was able to do just that. The next journey in his career would lead him to Clearwater, FL where he came to visit and loved the weather and never went back. Taking a break from DJing he met up with a group of guys at Tracks in Tampa where he got back into dancing and was now turn onto a new type of music he had never heard before called Breakbeat Techno. He curiosity once again challenged him to see if he could play this style of music. So he went out and started buying music and making tapes for him and his friends to dance to and listen to in the car. One day he was taken to an after-hours bar where he meet the owner and decided to give him a demo tape just to see what would happen. He got a phone call 2 day later and became the resident DJ at Nightmoves a popular after-hours club playing breaks. During this time he became the resident at one of the popular gay bars The Jungle in Tampa. With this job his new partner and manager John Gorman. John was the beginning of his stardom in Tampa. He began to get him into popular parties and some of the top venues in the city. In doing all these things Jeffery became a Tampa commodity. He became and overnight sensation. That lead to booking in world renowned South Beach And Ft Lauderdale where he played venues such as, Salvation (South Beach), Unbound @ Cactus Club(South Beach), And Coliseum (Ft Lt.) Now playing venues that some of his mentors have played.
