MIDWESTpeeps is founded on the idea that local fans and bands need branch out into other cities and with their local fans and bands to represent the great music and people that we have here in the Midwest. We have been working hard to connect people and build a community that exists online and in the local scenes. Our abilities include promotion, booking, production (lights and sound), and general community building on a person to person basis. We attend the shows that we promote and very often volunteer our time to help the newer bands get some recognition. Its not just online we have a faces and names that you can see and hear and get to know. Everything we do its geared towards bringing peeps under the same banner... the MIDWEST. We have found that there are lots of great people and music in local scenes but so often that is where it stays... local. The primary goal is to build a community that will be well informed that gets out to see live music more often so that the bands that working hard have a scene to plug into. So get out there and REPRESENT THE MIDWEST!!!!

On July 4th weekend 2008, ROTHBURY emerges as a new American celebration. For this next generation of the rock and roll music festival, ROTHBURY sets forth as a huge party with a purpose. Hosted at the one-of-a-kind Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan, the unique festival site offers trails, forests, fields, lakes and beachfronts, and even on-site lodging, bars and eateries. The four-day, environmentally sustainable music and camping festival promises to be an inspiring cultural assembly; one where music fans, artists and progressive thinkers gather to celebrate much more than music. We will be there, will you?
