I am interested in life, in all it's forms, glorious, beautiful life.
The source of time and death is the mind. The mind is time, the mind is death. One aspect of the mind is time, another aspect of the mind is death. But through meditation, through watching the mind, you can leave death behind. The Upanishads call this process neti neti, neither this nor that. It is a process of elimination: 'I am not this - this body, this mind. Then who am I?' Eliminate the non-essential, put it aside and go on eliminating the non-essential until on the essential is left. And that is the essential? How will you decide that only the essential is left? When there is nothing left to be denied, nothing left to be eliminated. Go on emptying your house; throw all the furniture out. When there is nothing left to be thrown out, then a great revelation happens: You gain immortality; the absolute arises in you in all its beauty and splendor, in all its ecstasy. - Osho
Lonliness...
But always look to see if anything that you are facing as a problem is a negative thing or a positive thing. If it is a negative thing then don't fight with it; don't bother about it at all. Just look for the positive of it, and you will be at the right door. Most of the people in the world miss because they start fighting directly with the negative door. There is no door; there is only darkness, there is only absence. And the more they fight, the more they find failure, the more they become dejected, pessimistic...and ultimately they start finding that life has no meaning, that it is simply torture. But their mistake is they entered from the wrong door.So before you face a problem, just look at the problem: is it an absence of something? And all your problems are the absence of something. And once you have found what they are the absence of, then go after the positive. And the moment you find the positive, the light — the darkness is finished. -Ohso
I will Serve All:
O Bestower of unceasing bliss! I will seek to make others truly happy , in gratitude for the divine joy Thou hast given me. Through my spiritual happiness I will serve all.Today I forgive all those who have ever offended me. I give my love to all thirsty hearts, both to those who love me and to those who do not love me.I will be a fisher of souls. I will catch the ignorance of others in a net of my wisdom and offer it for transmutation to the God of all gods.I will radiate love and goodwill to others, that I may open a channel for God's love to come to all.I know I am one with the light of Thy goodness. May I be a lighthouse for those who are tossed on the sea of sorrow.I am the servant ready to serve all needy minds with my simple advice, with my gifts of healing truth, and with my humble wisdom gathered in the shrine of silence. My highest ambition is to establish a temple of soul silence in every person I meet.
Paramahansa Yogananda
The Perfection of Wisdom is the greatest mantra.
It is the clearest mantra,
the highest mantra,
the mantra that removes all suffering.
This is truth that cannot be doubted.
Say it so:
Gaté, gaté, paragaté, parasamgaté. Bodhi! Svaha!
Which means...
Gone, gone, gone over, gone fully over.
Awakened!
So be it!
-The Heart SutraThere is no home, unless we find it in ourselves. You come into this world absolutely like a plain, unwritten, open book. You have to write your fate; there is nobody who is writing your fate. And who will write your fate? And how? And for what? You come into the world just an open potentiality, a multi-dimensional potentiality. You have to write your fate, you have to create your destiny. You have to become yourself. You are not born with a ready-made self. You are born only as a seed-and you can die also only as a seed, but you can become a flower, can become a tree. -Osho
"Osho is an enlightened master who is working with all
possibilities to help humanity overcome a difficult phase in developing
consciousness." -His Holyness the Dali Lama
The practice of taking right action without thought of rewards or attach¬ment is also a way of deepen¬ing the relationship between you and the Infinite. The practice of giving unselfish love and help is another example of deepening your understanding and trust in the cosmic laws of life that exist between you and the Cosmic Mind. When you love unselfishly you do not judge others, but have loving kindness and understanding. You send blessings to them, helping to free them from their mind’s ignorance, forgetfulness and selfishness--in short, allowing them to live their lives and fulfill their karma as they deem wise or essential. In so doing, you automatically bless your own mind-body complex and thus do not judge yourself harshly, but lovingly and with forgiveness for being human. This brings a happy, free life, bringing a powerful positive rebirth on the astral, which will soften and even neutralize constrictive karma. That is what yoga is all about. In yoga there is the practice of tarka, or reflection, which is done each night before sleep. As you reflect on your day, instead of judging others or yourself, practice asking forgiveness of them and of yourself so that you can bless and help them. Thus, the Life Divine will bless you. This follows the old yoga saying, “We who bless are blessed, we who love are loved, we who forgive are forgiven, we who teach are taught.â€The second part of the daily tarka is to release all attachments as to what happened or did not happen during the course of your day. Seek to understand the karma of these events and blame no one--not even yourself. This practice will become one of your greatest powers because it will return the control of your life back to you--back into your hands--and out of the hands of others. It will bring infinite bliss and happiness into your life and fill your mind with contentment here and now. In that moment, which we must all pass through, it will bring peace, fearlessness, joy and wisdom.-Goswami Kriyananda

"The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on
being perfect and beginning to work on becoming yourself."

"You have plenty of courage, I am sure," answered Oz. "All you need is confidence in yourself. There is no living thing that is not afraid when it faces danger. The true courage is in facing danger when you are afraid, and that kind of courage you have in plenty."L. Frank Baum-The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

all those who search diligently for truth, light, peace and enlightenment...they are my heroes."The Four Immeasurable Thoughts": May all beings have happiness and the causes of happiness. May all beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering. May all beings never be separated from the happiness that is without suffering. May all beings abide in equanimity, free from both attachment and hatred, neither holding some close nor others distant.Gautam Buddha's given name was Siddhartha. Gautama is his family name so his full name was Gautama Siddhartha. Buddha is not his name, it is his awakening. Buddha simply means "one who is awakened." Gautam Buddha is the most famous awakened person. There haven been many buddhas before him and there have been many buddhas after him-- and as long as every human being can become a buddha, new buddhas will go on springing up in the future. Everyone has the potentiality...it is only a matter of waiting for the right time. Some day, tortured by the outside reality, in despair of having seen everything and found nothing, you are bound to turn inward. In Buddhist terminology, 'Buddha' is equivalent to 'truth'. Buddhists don't talk much about truth; they talk much more about the Buddha. When you become a Buddha, you become awakened, so why talk about truth? Just ask what awakening is. Just ask what awareness is, because when you are aware, truth is there; when you are not aware, truth is not there.A Buddha is one who lives from moment to moment, who does not live in the past, who does not live in the future, who lives in the here and now. Buddhahood is a quality of being present - and it is not a goal, you need not wait, you can become a buddha just here and now.Buddha says the greatest joy in life is freedom: freedom from all prejudices, freedom from all scriptures, freedom from all concepts and ideologies, freedom from all desires, freedom from all possessiveness and jealousy, freedom from all hatred, anger, rage, lust...In short, freedom from everything, so that you are just a pure consciousness, unbounded, unlimited. That is the greatest joy, and it is possible -- it is within everybody's grasp. You just have to grope for it a little. The groping will be in the dark, but it is not far away. If you try, if you make an effort, you are bound to find it. It is your birthright. - OshoThe Buddhist point of view is that by enduring suffering, you can purify your past negative actions and generate the determination to acheive liberation. ---His Holiness the Dalai Lama
