The Bio of AjaeThe artist known as Ajae a singer/songwriter/producer. It all started in a apostolic church, singing in the youth choir. And when her mother realized that her talent was really good, she then develope Ajaes voice by constantly keeping her in the church choir under her wing. Ajaes was totally surrounded by music as a child. Her grandmothers and grandmotherss sister played for the church, she had an aunt that sing on the local curcuit. Her aunt had constantly singed Chaka Khan to Ajae on the regular. You may hear some of Chakas riff in some of her music. At a young age her mom decide to enrich her music by making her take piano lesson at the age of seven. It just didnt stop there, she can play the viola, cello, and the violin. Not only did the church trained her voice, but while in school she was trained thru the school chorus.Among her vocal incouragement are Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Sade, and Tina Marie. These ladies are what she based her sound of developement.After graduating high school she began to test her skill on the road with a band. Some former member of a band call Midnight Blue formed there own band and decided to train Ajae in stage performance. It worked for a while but Ajae wanted more. So she began to learn to make her own music. Once she realized that her music was listenable and was getting great response, she then began to pursue her destiny. Singing is definitely in her blood and couldnt run from it. She only wants to please a people with meaningful r&b again. Her contribution to R&B is to not let it die with the samples and loops. Keep it real with the chord and melodies.Look out R&B, there is another soul survivor of old school R&B ready to bring it back
