I am a human, I live in Melboune, Australia, I have my fingers in pies, with many divergent interests that I am endeavouring to bring together into a unified, balanced whole.. My first love is music, and I have an original band (along with Liam O'Connell, Ben Ganley and Jon Hopkins) with laptop/beats n tweaks, lush keys pattern driven guitar and vocals ( I write the songs, sing and play electric guitar), play jazz and gypsy jazz, and am interested in collaborating with triphop producers.. I am also a masseur ( I practice lomi-lomi and meld a few other styles in as well), a yoga teacher ( Raja or Astanga style incorporating elements of Nada and Kundalini Yoga) and teach singing- combining singing with yogic techniques. I have also put together a yoga course for musicians and singers, tailored with a range of things of very specific benefit, to treat and prevent RSI and playing related tension, improve posture, developed a more relaxed approach to the instrument and playing ( in the same ways as the Alexander technique ), improve the breath capacity and control, improve the voice (tone, range, control, stamina, freedom and dexterity, expression ), improve pitch awareness, and internalise theoretical concepts in a more tangible way, help to deal with performance anxiety, improve memory, concentration, creativity, developing a practice routine combining music practice and yoga practice that will fit into the hectic, random lifestyle that musicians tend to lead and more- so if this is of interest to you, drop me an email, and I will email you some more info.
