I am a singer/songwriter living in Kansas City who is completely passionate about music! I live and breathe music and couldn't live without it. I thank God for the opportunity to express myself through music and could not do it without Him. I recorded a 5 song EP in March '06 at Chapman Recording in downtown Kansas City and then started performing locally in April 2006. I am currently recording my full album with Producer/Engineer Aaron Walton at Vision 7 Records. I will also have the help of Eric Grossman from the former band "K's Choice" play bass on the album. He has already helped play on the song "Why" and will be playing on the next songs coming out as well. There are a lot of new songs that I have written over the past year and am excited about the new material.My songwriting comes from my own personal experiences and journeys in life or from other people's experiences. I truly believe that music touches people in such a profound way!I have had the privilege of touring with "eL" in Italy in March 2000. My brother, Jeremy Clark is the lead singer/guitar player for the band. Jeremy has inspired me in many ways as a brother as well as a musician.I was raised in Bogota, Colombia and had the great experience of living there for 12 years from the time that I was 7 years old. We moved to South America because my parents are missionaries. They are still living there and have been there for the past 26 years. My parents are such a great influence in my life and have been such a great support to me throughout my life. I am very grateful for them!It was such a wonderful childhood and I wouldn't have traded it for anything! I came from a very musical family and started performing at the age of 5. I loved being on stage and knew that it was what I was meant to do. By the time I was 6 years old, we were singing around the U.S. and singing in churches almost every week for a whole year as well as other times throughout my childhood. At times I dreaded singing some of the ridiculous songs that my dad made us sing, but I look back now and am so thankful that I had the opportunity of performing at such a young age.Having the ability to speak Spanish fluently will open the door to record some songs in Spanish. I definitely look forward to writing songs in both English & Spanish and can't wait for this new adventure of making music!..
