After taking a brief hiatus in 2006 to become a dad, Dublin rapper Collie returns this year with his second full-length album “How Things Change…†, released on his own independent label, Bad Mood Records. Life has indeed changed for this true-blue Dub, since his Meteor Award nomination and debut release “Is Ainm Dom†he has moved half-way across the country to the ‘real’ capital, Cork, and has become a parent all in one foul swoop. The subject of fatherhood features heavily in his new release (the front cover even depicts Collie holding his young daughter), but you can rest assured he’s remaining true to his own inimitable style. Featuring guest appearances from Dublin & Cork artists alike, (including Redzer, Nu-Centz, An Buachaill Dana, Anto Yau and GMC), you can check local availability or purchase his new album now from www.myspace.com/collie, and view his upcoming shows.
