The concept of being in a band has become so blurred and so common that it's almost become utterly impossible to earn a living from what I love doing.
Nowadays, everyone's brother, cousin, mate and themselves are in a band so whenever you play a fantastic gig you know you are playing in front of an audience who stands there going "I could have done it better".
How do we save the current music situation? Being original - That's bloody how!
I like to think that I don't sound like everybody else - I'm certainly not trying to either!
Life as a singer has been a part of my life since I was 5. I became a professional singer at the age of 15 with my first record deal and I haven't been able to stop doing it since!
The whole concept of Nehilo has been around for two years although the members and line up has been changing constantly! I'm slowly putting the pieces back together and establishing a line-up that wants the same things I do! I've been lucky enough to find an awesome bassist called Russell who has such an impeccable talent and love for playing the bass... and a fabulous drumming machine called Peter has joined the line up with more positivity and enthusiasm than I could ever hope for.
We have found our missing piece of the puzzle - Branko our new guitarist has such a quirkiness and coolness about him that I can't believe he hasn't been snatched up by anyone else!
The website www.nehilo.com is almost up and ready! you can browse some pics, read some bios and have a nose about the site... The music will be available to buy hopefully at the end of this month.
Take care and welcome to Nehilo's myspace!
