New Kingston consists of four brothers, they have been in the reggae industry for some time now; some might call them "young veterans". Unique sounds is what you hear when listening to New Kingston, these artiste are also a well-put together band. Steve strumming on guitar, Leighton picking the bass, Courtney holding it steady on drums and Tahir bubbling on keyboards, brings a sound to be reckoned with. Every member of the group contributes a unique style and voice to the overall sound.The foundation for this phenomenal groups' dynamic is Courtney Panton, father and founder. Courtney had his own band called The Kingston Crew in the 90s and he continues the legacy with New Kingston. Courtney having been entrenched in all facets of the music industry owns and operates his own studio in Brooklyn, where he headed the production of the groups first album Mankind. New Kingston has performed at many venues across the country and the Caribbean, alongside many of Jamaicas top performers. New Kingston has received nominations for reggae music awards and receives recognition from their peers. New Kingston is on their way to becoming the hottest sensation in reggae music!!!!
