Born in Spanish Town Hospital in september 1956 and lived all around Jamaica......drawn to music by watching and wishing I was part of...Tommorow's Children ..a great jamaican covers band in the 70's...Count Ossie and the Mystic Revelation..Alton Ellis and countless other Jamaican singers and musicians , not to mention the music from allover the globe . Let me not forget the muscians in my own family...The Thompsons the Browns the Peynados the Reynolds the Charltons.Actually started playing by being taught by Junior Bailley(BIg Bird) a much respected multi instrumentalist..and the late great Mikey Wallace of the band Chalice..Then in high school..Kingston College... watching the likes of Harold Butler..Tyrone Downie thiefing a practise on the chapel piano.Being taught by and being part of a musical coalition with Stevie Love...Freddy Brown...Gigi aka Nyanda...Fabian Cooke...Prince of wahdadah...the late great Owen Stewart(red fox)...Punkie drummer with Capleton... Then deciding to up my music education I enrolled in the then Jamaica School Of Music where I was taught by mr Johnno..Bass..MIkey Dyke..Ray Hitchens, Patrick Mcdonald..guitar... Cedric Brookes......Cornell Marshall veteran drummer....Jackie Willacy ...Marjorie Whilie...Mr Bayard LancasterPlayed and jammed with in the hotels ..Hedonism 2...Seawind..Jack Tar..Runaway Bay..Sandals with.. Courtney Panton , Herbie Harris , Bowie(Carol Mclaughlin)...Ruption (Tony Williams)...Termite (Mr Philip Roane)...the late great Tony Dacosta....Benji Myaz,, MIkey Guiits and his brothers ...Oswald Rennie...Mark Clarke...... respect to Jah Earl from Fagan Avenue where we used to dodge from both babylon and badman ,guitars in hand...Jah D one of jamdown's most respected Rastafarians an original beautiful person, Bro Raymond Harper another late great......Junior Jazz....
