THIS IS THE LAST TIME (BIO)...
Since we have posted a tale, and what a story to share. The band members recently sat down, and periodically still do to return to that core that makes them what they have become - something beyond their music and beyond their imaginations.
The original sounds of Cameo Nova were basic and raw at best, but still produced and provided interesting potential as can be heard in the first studio tracks with songs like "Save" and "Is Anybody There" in 2004. (Still available on PureVolume). Following the change of the lead guitarist in 2005, the sound quickly snowballed into bite tracks of a confusing and half-solidified rock genre that wore off for its rather rushed hype and untold story of struggle and uncertainty - feelings that certainly were shared during the recording process itself. The band was able to create promising tracks in "Full Circle" and "Turn Yourself", which can be heard thoughout several Atlanta radio stations, as well as "Erase", which was featured as a headline intro for Fever Fight Night and Knuckle-Up Fitness. With unsuspecting success of an LP that was never officially produced for sale - but merely songs recorded in an effort to establish the foundation and pillars of a potential album - the band abandoned their sound despite the sporadic and roller-coasteresque appeal to their LP tracks.
Still, the band understood its untapped talent, and grew apart and together in all the cliche ways any band would explain - yet held strong to their committment to create a particular sound - one in which is still under wraps and awaiting to be released...
