Just A Phaze is Rock band that will BLOW your mind and SHOCK your senses. They are a band that marches to the beat of a different drum, so to speak. Their music is comprised of many elements, and uses some unique time signatures. Drawing on chunky rhythms and melodic lyrics, with wicked drum beats from a very young prodigy(8 years old), and cool bass that seems to tie it all together, their music is as diverse as the people playing it. One thing is for sure....they are NOT predictable! ********************************
Jerry's been playing guitar since high school, writes his own music, and just loves to play. The driving force behind the scenes, he handles the majority of the writing. He definitely has been the foundation of Just A Phaze's unique sound. He draws inspiration from such guitar greats as James Hetfield and Jimi Hendrix, as well as Godsmack, Incubus, Staind, and Ozzy, Jerry loves experimenting with new sounds and rhythms to keep the sounds of Just A Phaze fresh and new.*************************************************
Amy grew up singing with her family, and loves music, also. While a little more traditional, she has broad musical interests and loves finally putting her own twist on an already cool music. Her sound is influenced by different elements in diverse genres of music; her lyrics come from real-life experiences and feelings, while maintaining content suitable for an all-ages audience. From the pain of losing her mother (Missing You), the joy of marrying her best friend (Girl Next Door), and the triumph of independence (Brand New), she pours out her soul, hoping to identify with and inspire others who've had similar experiences.*******************************
Cameron started hammering on anything that would stay still when he was about 3. When he was 4, a friend of the family, David Webb (of Late Night Zero fame), was nice enough to let him play on his kit, and before they knew it, he was playing entire songs. His sound is definitely his own, drawing from the sounds of Godsmack, Nickelback, and Alterbridge, as well as Green Day, All-American Rejects, and Panic!At the disco. Loyal to his roots (yes, even at 8), his favorite bands are the local LNZ and Blitzkid. He's been playing faithfully for the past 4 years, and has yet to lose the thrill of a challenge (definitely gets that from Daddy). People at their shows often comment on his ability to play an hour long set at his age, and he's been compared to drummers 3 times his age (he's been dubbed 'Little Lars'). His father will proudly tell you he definitely makes writing alot easier, and he has never threw a challenge at him he didn't meet with enthusiasm. Already a shining star in his family, he definitely has a bright future ahead!******************************************************
