What started out as a duo called Squeezing Peaches between Jim Hadsell and Vincent Hampton, went from small, local, cafe's such as The Singing Bean and The Flying Saucer to what is now Sleepy Jack. Later Devin O'Guin joined and helped formed the sound of the band and as that happened Vincent slowly departed from the band due to schooling and other engagements. But the mark he made in Sleepy Jack will be forever reckonized. Jim and Devin set out to start up a few gigs. So the band then called on Fred Holgado. His will and determination drove Sleepy Jack very quickly. After a mere month and a half of practice Sleepy Jack qualified into the second round of the Emergenza Festival in Atlanta held at The Vinyl. In need of a bassist for the next round they called upon Fred's younger brother Tomas Holgado. The line up was now complete. Sleepy Jack was finally formed.
