My Interests

Sam was born in South Australia in 1981 but was raised in Melbourne from the tender age 3. Growing up amid Melbourne's diverse music and arts scene Sam developed a strong passion for electronic music. By the time he finished high school Sam's passion had lead to the obvious conclusion that he wanted to become a DJ and within a short time Sam secured his first residency at a Thursday night house club. From there Sam co-founded the Melbourne Techno Collective where he carved for himself a reputation as one of Melbourne's finest DJ's

Some of my favourite's include; Science of Sleep, Taxi Driver, Dial M for Murder, Crash, Lucky You, Cash Back, the Virgin Suicides, Pan's Labyrinth, Stranger than Fiction, Blood Diamond, Thankyou for Smoking, Howl's Moving Castle, Tristram Shandy, 2046, Constant Gardener, the Producers, Goodfellas, Freddy got Fingered, Get Shorty, Napoleon Dynamite, Natural Born Killers, the Shining, Dead Poets Society, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Edward Scissor Hands, Falling Down, Evil Dead 3 - Amry of Darkness, Scar Face, Closer, Blade Runner, Run Lola Run, the Spanish Apartment, THX 1138, L.A. Just finished Hari Kunzru's the Impressionist. Fucking awesome book. Easily the best piece of Fiction I have read. Simply an epic tale. Also just finished Perfume which definitely does not live up to the hype, but it wasn't awful either.

Some of my other favs are
Norwegian Wood, by Haruki Murakami
A Short History of nearly Everything by Bill Bryson
the Dice Man by Luke Reinhart.
Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre.
Fear and Loathing on the campaign Trail & Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson.
