She has been gone 16 years now, May YHVH have mercy. Momma was 41 when she was murdered. She owned apartments in Gretna, La. While collecting back rent for evictions on November 12, 1991, A man came in and stabbed her 21 times. He took a plea bargain for manslaughter and was released from prison in 2005. Momma was a wonderful believing woman. She touched many lives in her 41 years. My heart still cries for her, not a day goes by that I don't think of her. Indeed, no one could ever take her place. I want so badly to call her, hug her, see her again...if only for a few moments. I would love to share My life with her now. If your Mom is still with you, please don't take a day for granted.
