playing, writing and listening to music, singing at the top of my lungs with headphones on (my neighbors hate me), reading, hiking and walking (especially at night when it is so peaceful), looking at the moon and stars, car camping, travel (I have been to Canada, Italy, New Zealand, Jamaica, China, Russia, Holland and Mexico - next trip will be either Ireland for pleasure or India for work - can't wait!!), snowboarding on the bunny hill, road trips with my dog or good friends, playing the only 3 chords i know on the guitar, eating Indian food - strike that - eating in general, playing with my dog and cat, cooking, hanging with family and friends, NASCAR, dancing around the house like a maniac to the CG faves playlist on my ipod (Flashdance anyone?)

I read like a freakin maniac - I was the kid reading on the school playground who was so engrossed that she didn't even hear the bell ring to go back to class. Lately I've been reading a lot of mysteries and non-fiction, but i just love to read. period. Loved Shantaram and The Life Of Pi, which i read last year. Little known, but fascinating book - "The Truth Machine" by James L. Halperin. A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle (am re-reading all the time). Will read anything by Nick Hornby. Dave Eggers, Michael Chabon, Jonathan Lethem. I ALWAYS read the New Yorker Magazine cover to cover (many conversations have begun with "well, i read this article in the New Yorker...")
