The Show also has picked up a cult following ad has featured music from all over the rest of the United States, Canada, and The United Kingdom. The show also will have National Major Label Exclusives that YOU WILL ONLY HEAR HERE FIRST!. So log on To WDORRadio.com and Check Out FTH Radio! No Politics. No Bullshit. No "Research". JUST MUSIC!!!!
However, before we move forward, we need to look back at the beginnings of Feel The Hunger Radio. The Legend that is Feel The Hunger Radio started in 2005 under a different name. The show began as Saturday Night Live on Power 96.5!
It Debuted on Saturday March 12, 2005 @ 10:00pm on WQHH-FM in Lansing, MI. In a short time it became a Cult Favorite in and Around the Lansing Area as a show that dropped new Music and added an attitude to radio in Lansing that it had NEVER seen Before!
On March 19, 2006, after exactly one year of late nights, the show moved to the 5pm-10pm timeslot. It was the Premier Show in Lansing that Highlighted National and Local Hip-Hop. The show followed in the footsteps of some of the other great Saturday Hosts on 96.5 including J.D., SunShyne & Don Q, Kapri, Alli Fox & DJ Dub.
The Host is Jay Scott, aka "The People's Champ", aka "Mr. Money In The Bank". The 27-Year-Old Detroit Native is known for his Outspoken, In-Your-Face, Smart-Ass nature on not just Hip-Hop Issues, but Pop Culture, Sports, Politics, and so much more. He loves Real Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul, the Detroit Pistons, [adult swim], Pizza, the WWF, and Pretty Women. He (and the show) have Zero Tolerance for Slow Jams, Wack, Overcommercialized "Rap", Reality TV, and Hip-Hop Violence/Thug Mentality. So When you came in, you had better come correct. And if you dared request any of the above mentioned...You WOULD be clowned!!!
SNL Featured all the Newest Hip-Hop Joints, that could only be heard on SNL on Power 96.5. If it was New Hip-Hop, You probably heard it first on SNL! The show also had the biggest Hip-Hop News of the Week, Random Pop Culture & Sports stories, the Saturday Night Live Super 8 Countdown of the Top 8 Hip-Hop songs of the Week (Formerly the SNL Top 9).
On April 1, 2006, the Battle of the Beats contest was re-started featuring talent from all over the State of Michigan, not just Lansing, and featured talent from Detroit, Kalamazoo, Flint, Grand Rapids, Saginaw, Kalamazoo, and more. The winner of Battle of the Beats would be featured on this page every week, and after 4 weeks, they were retired into the Saturday Night Rotation.
The 4 Week Winners, Known As BOTB Grand Champions, Were: (In Order) Jerome, The L.O.R.D., Gloc, Sawd Off, Kayo Laww, And JRod. Other BOTB Winners Included Slickey and Cracka Lack.
Also, on April 1, 2006, Legendary Lansing Mixtape King DJ Cutt Nice joined forces with SNL to create SNL Mixology. Every week at 9p, Cutt Nice, aka Cutty McGillicutty, dropped the hardest Hip-Hop, R&B, and Old School Joints (Called the "Drunk Uncle Exclusives") into the hottest mix in the Capital City! Hit him up at [email protected] or right here on MySpace at myspace.com/djcuttnice.
You can also get at Jay Scott on His MySpace page (myspace.com/audiomanjs) or e-mail him at [email protected]
On November 4, 2006...The Legend that was SNL was Abruptly Brought To An End by the forces of Corporate Radio after a near 2 Year Reign of Terror over All of Lansing Radio. We were thoroughly Grateful for every bit of support you guys showed and all the love that was, and still is given whenever Cutt Nice and I go places. It was a Blast Rippin' it every Saturday Night and You Will Never Be Forgotten. We love Each and Every One of You!...
...And That's Why The Hunger Came Back...Bitches!!! FTH Radio Debuted on The Fledgling LansingRadio.com in April 2007 to a massive debut and cult following, doing things you would never hear on Regular Corporate Radio. FTH Radio became too big for LansingRadio and has now upgraded to WDORRadio.com. So Check out WDORRadio.com to listen to FTH Radio, Upload Your Music, Check out The News Letter, And Roll With The Champs!

Feel The Hunger Radio Officially Endorses Barack Obama for President! If there was ever a person who Feels The Hunger, it is The Junior Senator from Illinois. Here is the Monumental Speech The Democratic Frontrunner Gave in Philly about Race. This was a verbal Chin-Check to all You Fools out there using Race to drive a wedge between us. And Kwame Kilpatrick...I hope you were paying attention. This is what a man of Integrity looks like!

Influences: The show's Biggest influence actually comes from a show that used to Air on Detroit Radio Giant WJLB in the Early 90s (1993-1996) called the "Rap Blast". The format was just a basic Hip-Hop show, that was mostly about the music. No BS, No Filler, just all Hip-Hop. The hosts, Billy T. and T.J. were incredibly funny and had a way of making you stick around for the entire show. National Artists came through, including Ice Cube, Scarface, Dr. Dre and others. Plus in the Early days, now Famous Detroit Artists such as Trick Trick and the late Proof were known to call in and freestyle.

Sounds Like: Think of Sirius/XM Satellite Radio...With a Michigan Influence!
