ALBUM IN STORES NOW!!!

About Me

Faith. Truth. Honesty. Passion. Four words that perfectly describe the vibe provided by Omega (also known as Majestik). Born In Saginaw (Sagnasty), Michigan, Omega was raised in the notorious St. Paul's Townhouse Village (aka "Tha Brickz".....I see you Big Lee). Omega eventually became a product of his enviornment, gang banging and occasionally selling dope to make ends meet. Omega lost numerous peers and acquaintances to murder, drugs and prison and has come close to meeting death and the penitentiary on a couple of occasions himself. After some serious soul searching, Omega decided to move to Lansing, Michigan in pursuit of a righteous path. He and his best friend G-Snipe, also from Saginaw, began rapping and formed a duo known as Armageddon. Influenced by other Michigan rap artists such as Saginaw natives, N.O.T.P. and Flint, Michigan natives, The Dayton Family, Armageddon's rap style was a gritty reflection of the things they’d seen and experienced growing up in Saginaw. Able to hold their own with and often outshine most rappers in their area they quickly became a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, they never caught the break they had hoped for. After several dead ends, they eventually disbanded and moved in different directions. Omega's path eventually led him to Grand Rapids, Michigan where he would again persue a career in music. He connected with his cousin who had, a couple of years ago, made his way back to Michigan from Norfolk, Va. Omega's cousin, known to his peers as 'Bless' had become a local barber and was a very fierce emcee in his own right. Together, Omega and God Bless formed what could very well have been one of Michigan's fiercest duos. That group was known as Unorthodox. 'Bless' East Coast influenced style meshed well with Omega's (then known as Majestik) metaphor heavy mic skills. Though they possessed very different styles, Omega and Bless' talent was interchangeable. People gave up trying to determine which of the two was the iller emcee.Through another up and coming emcee (John "Pain" Diaz), an acquaintance of Omega, they connected with a Flint, Michigan promoter by the name of Kerry "Kubla Khan" Horton who in turn introduced them to Frank G. and J.T., a Flint production team then known as Ghetto Symphony. Unorthodox would record several tracks with Ghetto Symphony before their commute back and forth to Flint became increasingly difficult due to various circumstances. Unfortunately, Unorthodox stopped recording and eventually disbanded.Omega would move one final time, back to Lansing, Michigan where he would soon meet his wife and mother to his four children. Although Omega still worked on his craft, music quickly became a second priority. He was still revered in many ciphers as one of the illest battle rappers to spit a 16 but the constant struggle with inner demons from his past forced him to put down the mic to strengthen his spirituality and knowledge of self. After rebuilding his relationship with God, Omega is armed with a new outlook on life, and is more skilled than he's ever been. Blending his perspective of spirituality with the perilous realities of his past, Omega has managed to find his own lane with a style not often heard in the realms of Hip Hop music.OMEGA 'Tha Majestik' Is In Tha Buildin!!!!
