About Me

Born & raised and still living near Flint, Michigan. Studying to be a certified pharmacy technician...using the self-study books. It can be done!Growing up I was the "quiet, shy kid". Not no more, thank you! I suppose I got tired of being bullied. WYSIWYG--what you see is what you get. If I don't feel like wearing makeup or my contact lenses, hey, tough. If someone doesn't like my warped sense of humor...see ya! Sometimes I want to be left alone. An advantage of being quiet sometimes is watching other people act like morons. LOL

My Interests

Kayaking, hiking, camping, reading, music, photography. Major "fresh air freak". Messin' around with my guitar. Sports fan: Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons, University of Michigan, Central Michigan University. I belong to a ladies only group called "Camo & Lace". We do lots of things outdoors...shoot guns, go fishing, teach hunters safety classes...learn about wild game cooking and survival techniques (i know how to start a fire with a battery and steel wool) and just hanging out.

Music:

Look at the videos on this page! Yes, I'm a longtime Night Ranger fan. Grand Funk Railroad, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Doors, Janis Joplin, Nugent, Seger, Skynard, ZZ Top, Bon Jovi, CSNY, Triumph, April Wine, Journey, Styx, AC/DC, Reo Speedwagon, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Metallica, a little bit of Nickelback, White Stripes, Kid Rock, Howling Diablos, Rhythm Corps, a lot of Motown--Stevie Wonder, Temptations, Supremes, Four Tops, etc... Throw in a little bit of country....Alan Jackson, Little Big Town, Big & Rich, Toby Keith, Martina McBride.....also recently started listening to Finger Eleven and Atreyu.

Movies:

All time fav is Gone with the Wind. Also like Tombstone, Dances with Wolves. Happy Gilmore always makes me laugh! Fast Times at Ridgemont High is still funny. Mr. Holland's Opus, so many to list

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Deadliest Catch, Miami Ink, American Chopper.

Books:

Historical novels. Also love Nevada Barr's books, especially A Superior Death, John Jakes. John Maxwell, Joyce Meyer.

Heroes:

God, my brother Keith who got his wings on 12-21-05. My Uncle Harry who joined him on 5-30-06. All of those serving or who have served in the United States Military!
