About Me

Broketronica isn't a band. Broketronica is an event.
The concept formed out of the brains of Mark DeCheser and Janic Castagner. The original plan was to get a monthly gig for their experimental/idm project Leafblower . The concept snowballed into something much larger very quickly. Now, Broketronica seeks to bring together the genres of experimental idm, glitch, downtempo, shoegaze, and other progressive elements to showcase new and upcoming talent from Philadelphia & surrouding areas.
Each event is broadcast live online from broketronica.com .

UPDATE :: Broketronica has a new home! The fine folks over at Inciting Productions have given us a place to hang our hat. Aside from Broketronica, Inciting Productions plays host to a variety of shows and after-hours events. Be sure to check them out at:
