TRANSMISSION magazin started in 2003 exploring the endless depths of the international postpunk & wave underground. TRANSMISSION is released twice a year and is written in german. our focus lies especially on bands that are not superstars yet and who maybe come from some far countries. so we had already bands from romania, colombia, japan, mexiko... if you have a cool band that doesn..t sound exactly like THE CURE or JOY DIVISION than feel free to contact us. oh yes, we also make some compilations called "awake in the greylight" (for more info you really have to go to our website). beside music we also feature underground artists in every issue. we have specials on politics, literature, travelling... we don..t like fascists, nationalism (you know, alls states are just a big shit, which doesn..t make much fun), we don..t need any naked women or men on our covers to sell more of our stuff. but we like dancing to your cool music in the sunshine and sometimes even in the rain as some people said that *postpunk* is a little bit sad :-(
now we have decided also to set up shows for cool bands here in leipzig. so if you are on tour or want to play here, get in contact!!!
