About Me

We started the band many, many years ago. "We" being Sammy, Joey, and myself (a.k.a. Norton, Johnny Terrien, etc.). We absolutely loved going to see live shows. Not only touring bands but local ones as well. One thing that drove us up the wall was that no one would play the fun, loud, and, (fairly) fast stuff. In other words - NO RAMONES. We knew it wasn't too difficult so we decided to do it ourselves. I gave up the bass guitar in favor of a six - string (and microphone), Joey picked up said bass guitar and Sammy got some drums. At this time our good friend Dicker joined the band and we began "rehearsing" in the parents' basement. We recorded a four song demo which still stands as the only music we've put in circulation. A little while later at least half the shows we played we were a 3-piece as Dicker was nowhere to be found. He was asked to leave. He remains a good friend. We continued as a 3-piece for quite a while. Maybe our hearing was slipping. We wanted MORE, and besides, the Ramones weren't a three piece either. We'd known Mikey for a while and were (at least partially) responsible to his shift from liking Van Halen etc. to loving the Queers. Needless to say he's fit in quite well and we're nice and loud now - ok, most times...).I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
