Life is interesting. Things will only be as interesting to you as your interest level. Life is what you make it.
More people who don't have their head up their ass. It's an interesting time to be an American.
Too many people with their heads up their asses is the main reason why my 10-year plan includes a move to Whistler, British Columbia.
One of my favorite bumper stickers right now: "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!"
You Are Boston
Both modern and old school, you never forget your roots.
Well educated and a little snobby, you demand the best.
And quite frankly, you think you are the best.
Famous people from the Boston area: Conan O'Brien, Ben Affleck, New Kids on the Block
What American City Are You?
Where do I even begin? Too many genres to even list off. Love love love the local muzak. See my "top friends" to know what I like. (There's one or two that suck, I know, but if my friends are in it, then I'll support it & love it!) Having awesome live shows available 365 nights a year is one of the best parts about living in the city... I play a MEAN seahorn- I rank in the top 2% of seahorn players worldwide.
Anything by the Coen brothers. I would have to say that my favorite movie of all time is "The Big Lebowski" if I had to pick just one. Highlarious. "Old School", "Royal Tenenbaums", anything with Jack Black, Team America, the American Pie trilogy, whatever. I love mind-f*ck movies like "Vanilla Sky", "Memento", "Brazil", "Barton Fink", "Eternal Sunshine...", "Waking Life", "12 Monkeys", etc. Quentin Tarantino is also a favorite- love the Kill Bills. "Fight Club", "The Italian Job", "True Romance", "Ronin" (the best car-chase movie ever starring DeNiro and the unparalelled Audi S8)
TV will rot your brain, kids. Most of it's crap. That's why if you MUST, I highly recommend DVR plus HBO. L.A. Ink, Weeds, Dexter, Big Love, Arrested Development, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Chapelle's Show, The Simpsons, The First 48, This Old House, Antiques Roadshow, That 70's Show...
Whatever my friend, Angela, lends me to read. She's a teacher and always knows a good book to recommend. Thanks for the edu-bu-cation, Ang!
