FRANKIE (Frank Hasselstroem)
is a danish composer, producer, musician and conductor.
Frankie writes various music for shortfilm, theater, bands, symphonic orchestras, ensembles, big band, and a whole lot of different Pop music.
Frankie plays misc. instruments: piano, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, trumpets, trombones, tuba, santur, dulcimer, and also work as bandmaster, conducter and music director in various projects.
Frankie founded the band CATBIRD in 2001 along with the extrodinary singer Billie Koppel. BMG/RCA released their debut album in 2003. It was nominated at The Danish Music Awards 2003 as "Best Producer Of The Year" & "Best Female Singer Of The Year". CATBIRD were also nominated for "Best New Act" at The Danish Radio P3 price.
They are currently working on their second album, to be released in 2008.

Frankie has a studio (pro tool HD3, ver 7.3), 3 rec. rooms and controlroom, based in an old woodhouse in Copenhagen.
