Smoking in Pennsylvania
John & Peter's has filed for exemption from PA's smoking ban. As a result, NO PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 ARE PERMITTED INSIDE THE BUILDING AT ANY TIME. Unfortunately, this includes BAND MEMBERS, BAND EMPLOYEES, and FAMILY MEMBERS.

Some Wee Notes For Folks That've Never Played J&P's Before:
1.) All night shows are 21 & up. No exceptions. No ledgerdemain will be tolerated.
2.) Excepting Saturday & Sunday day or a rare occasion, There Is No Guarantee. You set the door. You keep all the money from admissions. You enjoy your 1/2 price pitchers of beer. Merriment is made, music is played and whining ist verboten.
3.) If you are booked and must cancel, please try to do so as soon as possible so that we may endeavour to procure alternative means of entertainment.
4.) We have a PA and our board is pretty intuitive. Bands are responsible for their own sound.
The house system consists of:

We can arrange to have a sound man present, but the band is responsible for his compensation (he's pretty flexible).
5.) Load In/Load Out-
We have a small parking lot behind the venue for staff and performers- parking is on a first-come, first serve basis. Evening band are advised not to arrive for load-in until 7:30, especially on weekends. The staff shift change is 7:00- this prevents unnecessary shuffling of vehicles in the lot and increases your chances of actually being able to park here.
We request all weekend day performers to load out by 6:30.
