T.S.U. formed during the tail end of 2004 in Philadelphia , PA. The three musicians instantly felt a connection through the rhythms and melodies emanating from their instruments at an impromptu jam session. Vahe Sarkissian (guitar), Joe Fitz (drums), and Shant Sarkissian (bass) have all played with each other in different projects at some point, but this collaboration is different. The combination of hard rock, space rock, middle-eastern music, and experimental/progressive music spawned a new sound that has captured the attention of people around the Philadelphia area. In addition to being featured in nationally syndicated magazines such as Guitar World and being voted MySpace band of the week in the Philly Weekly paper, T.S.U. has performed at venues such as the Trocadero, Grape Street Pub, CBGBs, and the Khyber, continuing to build upon their already loyal fan base.
