About Me

"It is a rare thing to be able to sit a hipster next to a hippie and have them enjoy the same kind of music, but Riding Shotgun seems to do be doing just this."
- Daniel Murphy
Northeast In-Tune Magazine
Based in Boston, Riding Shotgun's live set is an instrumental mix of atmospheric rock, breakbeat and groove. RS is on tour promoting their debut album, "NIGHTfalls" on Random Chance Records.
"NIGHTfalls" is an engaging listening experience for fans of rock, jazz and electronica. The album has received high praise from The Noise (Boston), 20th Century Guitar Magazine (NYC) and others.
To draw style comparisons, the Boston-based instrumental trio's sound has been likened as "Medeski, Martin & Wood meets Radiohead."
In their short yet burgeoning career, Riding Shotgun has released "leave by eleven..." in 2003 (debut 4-song EP), headlined venues such as "The Middle East" (Cambridge) and "The Pontiac" (Philadelphia), and has opening for national acts like Metric, Mike Doughty, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey and Drums & Tuba.
Please contact Ian Hochard at Max Power Management for booking inquiries. Email at [email protected] or call 978-505-8079. Thank you.
