Captivated at an early age by hiphop, siblings Dirty Dread and Chucklez began their hip hop career in the basement of their Cambria Heights, Queens NY apartment. Unfortunately with the lack of equipment but just a blastin boom box and a single pair of headphones, the brothers soaked themselves in rhyme melded with the passionate drama unfolding in the streets outside their door. Musical mayhem ensued as tough brotherly love and rivalry forced their sound to funk-influenced depths only pain and the streets can produce.
E&J Blood Brothaz is credited with the hit singles Jump Aboard and Quest Seeker. Both are chart topping tracks that garnered the group the number1 spot in the US and Canadian urban markets. Their critically acclaimed album Vatos: A Family Affair is available for downloads now at all Internet music sites.
