Our job is to supply young listeners with sounds unique to the hip hop game. We are the number 1 Independent Record Label on the East Coast and a power house in the hip hop movement in New York. We house a roster of chart topping artists like: B-Locks, E&J Blood Brothaz, M.U.R.D.E.R. Internash, 2Belo, Mountaineers, TNB, and Dirty Dread Da Buzzard
We are a recognized member of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), NACA, APCA, NARM and NMPA. Among Friends Records (AFR) catalog collectively has sold over 100,000 units through independent distributors, independent retail outlets, the internet and mail order. Among Friends Records is currently being distributed by HipHopFriends, Inc. which handles all distribution efforts and viral online marketing. At AFR, we average one new release every month. This year we've planned two full length CDs by years end. The E&J Blood Brothaz "Built On Solid Foundation" and B-Locks currently untitled.
