Ajouter à mon profil | Plus de Vidéos Anne-James Chaton is sound-poet. He is 35 years old and lives in Montpellier, France. He directed several reviews (Derivation, The Incredible New Justine' S Adventures...) and published five books, three poetry books to editions Al Dante and two essays with the editions Sens & Tonka. It gave a hundred performances in France and abroad and organized a great number of events around sound poetry in Besancon, Lyon, Paris, Montpellier (the series of Poézies five consecutive years and on several cities), PC - Poésies contemporary in Toulouse, Performances of sound Poetries in Montpellier... He co-directs with the duet Kristoff K.Roll the festival of sound arts "Sonorities".Since 2003, Anne-James Chaton carried out the first part of several French tour of the Dutch group of free rock The Ex with which he recorded on their « Turn » album and published a book-CD to editions Al Dante. This long collaboration with The Ex gave the opportunity to him to occur on many scenes of rock musics and to cross the way of other groups with which he played or developed projects. He writes texts for the French group of rock Innocent X and recorded on their last album "Fugues" (Blue electric, Amiens, Mars 2005). In paralléle with this experiment with The Ex, Anne-James Chaton engaged projects with musicians of improvisation. He takes part in a trio with Catherine Jauniaux (voice) and Carole Rieussec (eléctro-acoustics) with which he gave a series of concerts. In 2004, a residence of creation in the "Overtoom" (Amsterdam - the Netherlands) is the occasion of the formation of a quartet associating electronics, text, image, guitar and sounds with Andy Moor (guitar- Th Ex), Yannis Kyriakides (electronic) and Isabelle Vigier (images). It is in 2004 also that he started with Andy Moor (guitar - The Ex) a duet guitare/sound poetry. Lastly, in 2004, Anne-James Chaton began a work of poster, around a series of portraits, of which some were published and presented by Montévideo (Montévideo edition) in Marseilles, the Transitory Point (edition CNEAI) in Paris and the gallery Art3 (Art3 edition) in Valence.
