Easily distracted by shiny things? Absolutely. Completely. O My Gosh, yes.
I have an overpowering love for the ridiculous, over-the-top, absurd, silly, and surprising. My greatest joy comes from knowing that the universe has an endless supply of and/or endless potential for creation of such things.
Boredom confuses the fuck out of me. Explainations of what it is and how it happens confound me.
My favorite things to do are: Create (art, stories, music, mayhem), Learn Something New (how to make something, how to fix something, the history of a culture), Do all sorts of crazy-arse things with skates strapped to my feet, and Dance.
I also enjoy scheming, drinking tequila, going to see shows, hanging out with friends, getting dressed up/ down/ sideways, and walks on the beach of a short to mediumish length.
When it comes down to it, I get pretty stupidly excited about doing just about anything.
The things I don't particularly like are: Relaxation, Shopping, Waffling, Waiting, Being stuck somewhere and forced to do nothing, Sweet Foods, Pictures of Cute Animals (Kitty Porn), Talking about food, Spending more time than needed for survival preparing food, Long walks on the beach, Scotch, and Snakes.
I am an existentialist which means most of the time I'm flying high on the knowledge that nothing really matters, but every once in a while I crash land and spend several days wallowing in a deep pit of despair knowing that nothing really matters.
For a devious and mocking little imp, I'm really quite nice.
For a shy introvert, I'm a little too willing to publicly humiliate myself.
For someone who loves getting up and going to yoga, I stayed out a bit too late, drank a bit too much, and acted a bit too debaucherous the night before.
For an indvidualistic loner, I'm a little too community-minded.
For a sworn hedonist, I'm freaking out a little too much about what useful things I've accomplished this week.
I'm aware I don't always make sense.
I'm okay with that.
My attention span may be short, but it is layered.

Basically, I'm a book slut.
