He's shared the stage with many others in the jazz, funk and jamband worlds, Arturo Sandoval, Garaj Mahal, Jeff Sipe, Bryan Jordan, Randy Brecker, Frank Wess, Alonzo "Pookie" Johnson, John Staton, Fareed Haque, Dan Nimmer, and opened for Spearhead, Karl Denson, Robert Walter, The Isley Brothers, Liquid Soul, Oteil Burbridge and George Porter and toured the US and Canada with San Francisco's progressive funk-rock unit, Global Funk. Josh's groove compositions are infectious, unique, heart felt and inspired. His fountain of ideas make a thirty minute instrumental jam seem short.
