Ryan Krieger began playing drums at the age of four. Aided by natural talent, he learned to play guitar and bass, as well as engineer and produce by the age of sixteen. Ryan was fortunate enough to have his older friends sign him out of school in West Milford NJ and journey to New York City, establishing his musical foundation by being exposed to ample punk, jazz, and avant-garde shows. In 1997, he studied extensively with jazz drummer/educator Karl Latham . From 1998 to 2000 he toured with New York City hardcore legends the Cro-Mags on their Revenge world tour, recorded the Harley's War (hardcore all-stars) album in 2001, and in 2002 he toured with world music didgeridoo wizard Dr. Didg . At home, Ryan records a lot of experimental music, plays with Seven-Tin - an instrumental band made up of Blue Man Group and Martin Residence members. As of late, Ryan toured and recorded with California-based Global Funk for three years, and is now part of a new collaboration with hybrid electronica group BLUSIRKUT .
