Darkwater Environmental - Marine, Estuarine & Freshwater Ecology

About Me

Positive good energy and wellbeing to you. My name is Kane and I'm a real nature loving dude-ologist. Nature, the elements and human culture is the spice to life. These are my photo's from travelling, working and tributes to my best friends. Hope you enjoy them.Be CARBON POSITIVE. I plant trees for a living. I also help rehabilitate disturbed, damaged and developing areas. So professionally as 'Darkwater Environmental', I'm a environmental consultant for catchment management, fisheries and ecological restoration.I'm specialised in Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems. However, I manage large-scale riparian revegetation projects. Outcomes include increased water quality, wildlife corridors, biodiversity of flora and fauna, optimising habit, environmental health, conservation and land management. This planet is an inpiration to me, it's our home, please help it shine.

My Interests

Love my girlfriend Emily. Love the Western Victorian Coast, especially the great ocean road, the rainforests and surf beaches at sunrise. Love the worlds's oceans and the amazing sea life within. Love surfing big waves, skating pools/parks, snowboarding. Love skin diving in estuaries, lagoons, wetlands, and on temperate and tropical reefs. Love sailing boats in storms, feelin the elements and feelin alive. Trekking in wilderness, rock climbing and drinking water from streams. Love getting paid to plant trees, shrubs, sedges, forbes, grasses and aquatic plants, it gives me real job satisfaction. Saving the planet! Love thinking of the most extreme adventures and going on missions to optimise the weather conditions to suit that lifestyle.

I'd like to meet:

Naturalists. Random people. Proactive people working to achieve positive outcomes for mother nature. People and organisations throughout the world interested in marine, estuarine and freshwater ecology.People from different cultures, languages, religions and places in this beautiful world.
