About Me

Yes, there's a good chance I was in your company's safety, sales, or sexual harassment training video. I'm a San Francisco-based actor who has done his fair share of industrial films.
My face may be familiar to Bay Area fans of improv and sketch comedy thanks to my work as a member of some of the area's favorite performing groups: BATS Improv, True Fiction Magazine, and Killing My Lobster.
I'm a member of the Main Stage Company at BATS Improv , where I perform year-round. I am also a writer and performer with sketch comedy troupe Killing My Lobster . I appeared in the successful three-month run of the lobster's full-length world premiere play, Hunter Gatherers . (Named one of the top 10 theater events of 2006 by the San Francisco Chronicle and recently named the best new American play of 2006 by the American Theatre Critics Association.)
I can be seen on screen with Will Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness, which is now on DVD, plus the independent feature films Security and Charlie the Ox. You can also catch me in the occasional commercial.
And to answer the most commonly asked question, it's pronounced CO-VACK-UH-VICH.
Now admit it...you really want to learn more by visiting www.JohnKovacevich.com .
