I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!rise. sound has a hard heavy edge with hamonizing melodic vocals in which has been described as emotional modern metal or "The New England Power Groove." With a collaboration of various styles of music that can only be described as pure, honest, and destinctive. The lyrics represent the modern struggles of the middle class society that deliver the common message of truth to all who listen. recentlly rise entered in the "Bodog Battle of the Bands" on sunday 8-27-06. They came out victorious taking the win in the first stage of competition. We will keep you posted for round 2 updates.
Rise., formed in April of 2006, came about when Ron and Scott's previous band, Sky Blue Valium", parted ways in January. They immediately called upon Ramsay, a long time brother and former member of H-BOMB with Ron, and Carrion, with Scott. Now with mind-blowing riffs, remorseless drum beats, and melodic harmonies, one piece of the puzzle was yet to be found. After writing, jamming, and relentlessly searching for a bassist to fill their void a spark was set off. The cavalry was called in, in the form of a funky bass player, Henry. He too a former member of H-BOMB with Ron and Ramsay all those years ago. It took playing one time in the same room together to realize that the circle had come together. With an unforgiving line up its time to Rise. and resurrect a fallen dream, to prove once again what it means to be a true musician. Now this group of the areas finest are ready more than ever to bring life into a once quiet scene.
