Those who enjoyed the Boston hardcore/metal band Sam Black Church will remember super high energy, aggressive yet positive (somebody once said 'happy anger'), exhaustingly sweaty, messy fun shows and music that had some groove to it, but still pounded. The great Bad Brains were probably the most often used comparison.
Jetfuel is some more of the same. They write music that works for them, and only know one way to play (see above). Those who have seen the first couple of Jetfuel shows can attest to this.
The CD 'New Form Ultra Function' was self produced, yet sonically exceeds the SBC catalogue because for the first time Ben and Jet had time to get things the way they wanted without hurrying things. The band is quite happy with it.
Mike, Dave, and Peet have come from bands of many influences, heavy to poppy, but each of these guys just rocks. They all bring serious chops and energy to Jetfuel.
