The band was first imagined by guitarist and lead singer, Ron Travis and drummer, Scott Aguiar several years ago. When they combined Ron’s smooth, yet powerful vocals and Scott's ‘in the pocket’ drum beats they were begining a fresh new project. Ron soon called on guitarist Eric Ramsay, a long time friend and former bandmate. With the mind-blowing riffs of “Ram-zâ€, the trio began to develop their sound, but quickly realized the music was still missing a key element. All it took was a few phone calls for Eric to recruit bass guitarist, Henry J. Patenuade. After jamming together just once to include Henry J’s broad spectrum of dynamic baselines, it was agreed, the band was now complete. Since that day, rise. has quickly gained recognition in the local music scene, playing live shows and also releasing their first demo CD. Currently, while also continuing to perform live, the band is working to compile a full length debut album. A release date is still undetermined.
