About Me

Hmmmm......ok. Dual Citizen, Canada/US. Born on the Sunshine Coast in Beautiful Britsh Columbia. Moved to Whistler and was skiing w/seasons pass at the age of 21/2. Lived between B.C. and Ontario till 8yrs old. Parents separated Mum(american) moved back to states, Orcas Island. So lived between the 2 until 17. Moved to Vancouver, B.C. and rocked out a couple yrs, did some competetive snowboarding. Ventured on the Solo mission for 8months to HI, New Zealand, Australia, and the Cook Islands surfing and living out of a backpack. Vagabon unsure of what to do next, moved to Seattle to be lead singer of a band that my brother Jones had started (him being the lead guitarist) for the next couple yrs. Met my husband...had my beautiful baby boy. Took a course in Audio Production and have a new found respect for the music industry and a humbling of my own ego. A lovely detour again w/the birth of my 2nd beautiful baby boy. Just got back into the swing of thangs. Many musical projects rockin me now. THat is the nut shell. Personality wise....I'm just me what you get is what ya get.

My Interests

Vocalist, Audio Engineering and Production, a lil guitar, a lil hand drums, currently learning electric bass guitar, snowboarder, surfer, extream sports lover, traveler, dancer, long hikes and getting lost on a summers day, gardening, and of course I got to be livin, lovin, and learnin at all times...and keepin up w/my rhymes.

Music:

Otis Redding, SRV, HEndrix, Santana, The Beatles, Allman Brothers Band, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Derek Trucks Band, Gov't Mule, Bill Withers, Cat Stevens, Crosby,Stills,&Nash, Dire Straits, Talking Heads, Zepplen, Cream, Dylan, Chuck Berry, Paul Simon, Lennon, Creadence, JJ Cale, Jim Croce, Johnny Cash, John Mayer, Grateful Dead, Phish... all the good older shit although I did throw in some newer bands into the mix. Sublime, Alice in Chains, Mad Season, STP, Second Coming, Sound Garden, Metalica all those types of rockin music. Ladies in music- Tracy Chapman, Bjork, Fiona Apple, Portis Head, Ricky Lee Jones, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Mazzy Star, Cowboy Junkies, Aretha Franklen, Melissa Etheridge, ect. Like some good jazz- John Coltrane, Miles Davis, ect. Gotta love the Blues- Taj Mahal, B.B. King, Billy Holiday, Eva Cassidy, ect. Ja da reggae vibe - Mr.Marley, Steel Pulse, Burning spear, Nuffsed... Groove to house and some techno/electronica. Dig it much...world music (esspecially latin vibe/salsa). Love all classical music and Italian Opera. Dig on some of the hip hop out there- Jr. Gong, Lauren Hill, Long Beach Dub, The Roots, Blackolicious, ect. There is just so much to choose from I'm just happy we all have choice!

Movies:

Fandango, The Doors, Alice in Wonderland(animated), Lord of The Rings, Resevoir Dogs, THe Blues Brothers, The Lost Boys, Herald and Maud, Pulp Fiction, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Eulogy, Fear and Loathing, I'm a 007 girl, The Goonies, Warriors, Kill Bill 1&2, The Incredibles, Hero, almost all Foriegn Films(luv different languages and watching the actors), Up In Smoke, Dazed and Confused.....

Television:

When I can..... KCTS programs like the tribute concert for George Harrison & Alone in Alaska...the one about the 58yr old guy moving to Alaska and building his own log cabin from scratch and by himself (it's pretty cool). SNL (older stuff). Always the Discovery Channel, National Geo, Animal Planet, and any Travel or History shows.

Books:

Tom Robbins, Ann Rice, James Redfield, and many more I can't think of. Educational books. Spiritual Books. I do love to read National Geographic magazine. I suppose if I'm putting in magazines I would have to add Transworld Snowboarder to that, as well as Mix, Electronic Musician, Live Design, and FOH. Parenting books.

Heroes:

We all have the potential to be Heroes...so I would have to say my Heroes are everybody.

Noah and Tara's baby Revan Robert!
