I really like that I can hear the voice clearly; a lot of recordings don't get the mixing right, but I think you hit the nail on the head here. If you want to get more commercial airplay, I would cut the airtime from 4:30 to under 4. His first solo CD entitled "Winter's Emptiness" is full of emotional and heart-felt songs that are deeply thoughtful. A beautifully textured mix of acoustic and electric. From the first song I listened to ("You're Gone"), I was immediately taken in by the descriptive words and hypnotic tune. From that point, I clung to every word. Jerald Wolf has a diverse and rich voice, full of feeling and color. The twelve song CD "Winter's Emptiness" is the emerging of a new songwriter/poet. The songs are as poetical as they are raw and sometimes cold.
