My Name is Warren Bennett Im a Singer/Songwriter from Brisbane who has a passion for music and thus creates music from my heart based on my life. I like alot of acoustic artists with a nice vocal range. Im on here to let people know that my music has come from my heart and every single lyric is true,Ive been playing guitar for 6 yrs and singing and writing for 2.5yrs. In april this yr i decided to go to a recording studio i paid $230 dollars for the day to get as much songs in as possible which was 6 songs. I created a my space site and got alot of good feedback. Around Sept 2007 i decided to ring around for serious producers and i wanted the best, I rang a guy by the name of Wernher pramschfer from great music, After 4 days he contaced me and offered a production deal which i was wrapped about, Thats were Great Day Tomorrow and Forever Gone came about, After discussions with my prodcuer it was wise to do an album after showcasing my songs to him.Album is now underway which will be done by mid April 2008 cant wait for. Currently getting airplay on 4ZZZ 102.1FM and played live on 4zzz FM, Downunderthundaradio(worldwide), awesomeradio(worldwide) After the 2 demos were released on my space they started getting favorable comments from people who liked the songs and want to know where we are playing, Following this Great Day Tomorrow is on a compilation album called Acoustika Vol7 which was released in the states and sold just under 10000 copies and is getting airplay on 20 amercian college radio stations. Forever Gone is in the final of a independent radio station out of 10000 songs called meermusic the radio station England94.6FM and Spain101.5FM plays to a monhtly audience of 2 million people.Warren has now taken on the approach as a full sound rather then a solo artist as now the songs have to come to life as a big 5 pce sound Warren wants his audiences to seethis, Warren has now est a band and has been rehearsing since Jan 2008 and is ready show Australia his beautfully crafted music. Its a big year in store with Warren who will only suceed with his work ethic and passion for music, Warren's debut album self titled 10 yrs of Life will be released on itunes and cdbaby and of course various local record stores around Australia by May, His music is very laid back acoustic pop to soft rock and is getting strongly compared alot with Pete Murray and Lifehouse who is Warrens main influneces, His music is very melodic, smooth beautiful voice, and a sound you can not pass up that beats through your head with catchy choruses and honest lyrics that you cant forget and want to sing again and again, Warren's work is honest and its shows through his music and when you meet him, Warrens ideal song is about his own experiences in life none of warrens songs are made up they all are based on real life events which have inspired him to write. Warren has been working hard on my space to let people know about his up and coming album and gigs which will be posted shortly with a newsletter he started up in Nov 2007 already has over 1200 members and increasing rapidly everyday as his music gets to more and more people we will see this guy be a major sucess by the end of 2008.
