my secret life are a melodic indie rock three piece spawned from the city of birmingham who make music for those people who like to pogo along with there heartache. in the time the band have been together theyve recorded a well recieved ep 'whatever it takes' which overplay.com likened to radiohead, pixies, nirvana and supergrass, and compared the vocals to rem's michael stipe and kelly jones of the stereophonics. in a review of the same ep ryan's gig guide described the band as 'the missing link between placebo and snow patrol.' around this time the band also had a track on the 'britainrocks!'compilation, which was only available through US colleges and universities. as well as this they have built up a healthy live following with there 'play anywhere with anyone' manifesto. one of these gigs was reviewed by bbc.co.uk and saw them complimented on there 'tight, energetic, unique brand of indie rock.' in feb '08 my secret life finally got around to releasing ther debut single 'easy when you know how' through horus music. at the time of writing, downloads have been very encouraging and the feedback fantastic. whoever said the devil as the best tunes as clearly never heard my secret life.
