The Saturns
In a time of disco drum beat rock bands and a 2 second market memory, The Saturns are known for the sort of live show that makes people ball their fists up with the tension and dance like there’s no one watching. Taking their cues from classic rock and roll and Australian indie legends of the last ten years like, Dallas Crane, Custard and You Am I, The Saturns have garnered critical acclaim wherever they perform.
The Saturns took the slow track to the studio, working their craft onstage in some of the best rooms in the country before seeking the right people for the job of recording the band. Once located, Here’s The Saturns, came together with the mixing skills of Wayne Connolly (The Vines, Youth Group, Dallas Crane) and mastering by Don Bartley (Powderfinger, Alex Lloyd, Paul Kelly), who captured the band performing live in the studio! Five tracks of wry cleverness that only an Indie Rock band on the rise could possibly achieve and the perfect introduction to The Saturns, including crowd favourite and single “I Could Be The Oneâ€, which reprises 60’s garage sounds without becoming retrospective or style conscious.
