Da Maniacs

A fresh young group now emerging from the Caribbean is the Da Maniacs, an exciting duo of Barbadian singers that fuse R&B with hip -hop and reggae. Fablous & Lyrical. This young duo at present are working hard to evolve their muscial fusions, their goal is to be at the top of their craft, like the many successful acts and recording artiste, that has gone ahead to take the world by storm, creating exciting new carribbean sounds, that appeal to international audiences. With a nomination for best Reggae/Dancehall album at the 2006 Barbados Music Awards under their belts, the sky is truly their limit. The group has performed at many venues both in Barbados and abroad to being an opening act to international artiste such as Magnet Man, Anthony-B and Dru Hill at the Barbados Hip-Hop Festival, and to being the first Reggae/Ragga soca act to perform on stage since that festival began, At present they are currently signed to Magnetic Image Records and have been performing with Magnet Man on his 2006 U.K summer tour.
