Matthew "Big Pudge" Bayley, like the other members of the Poundas crew, share the talents and passion associated with hip-hop music. Whether it is MC battles, breakdancing or DJ-ing, Pudgee has experienced it all, and will admit to date that he never thought hip-hop music in Barbados would make it this far.I had my own way of thinking about the business. In Barbados, back in the day, hip-hop was just another wacky type of music. But I've grown to accept hip-hop as a way of expression; a way for me to express myself, said Pudgee. He is recognized as the young entrepreneur and father figure of the Poundas crew (also responsible for the name Poundas) has blazed hot spots and stages in Barbados, such as Sandy Bank, Pepperpot, and others with his razor sharp accomplice Whizurd, as the Ravens. With guest appearances on numerous tracks, Pudgee can be heard spitting all over the 2000 Poundas album Pound 4 Pound, the bigS&T Finally album, the Whizurd Bean Streets album and The Ravens new album.
