SiSi-Jo, (born Simona Joseph) is 22 years old. Growing up between the islands of Barbados, St. Lucia and the cities of Virginia Beach and Brooklyn, She is multi-cultured, passionate and ready to change the world one song at a time. “I am an artist. The medium with which I choose to express myself is music. Music is not only about that you hear, but what you feel when the music strikes your mind, heart and soul. Music is sharing life’s experiences with a little melody. We have such strong responses to music because it explores issues of self-identification, sexuality, relationships and emotions. To some, music means freedom, comfort…even segregation. For me… to sing, to write, to live the life of music... is to breathe.”
