Leo-Tan was blessed with the gift of singing and playing musical instruments.
He was raised in a musical christian atmosphere and his music and style of singing is influenced by his gospel background.
At the age of 7 Leo-Tan started playing the guitar and later on he started to sing in church and learned to play various instruments.
As the years went by pear pressure got the best of him and he started to rebel against church rules and regulations.
He took his talents to the streets and got involved in secular activities, and started competing and toasting for money.
Eventually, things got out of hand and he was
sent to Trinidad at the age of 13 to complete his high school education.
At returning to Saint Maarten he joined a local band and was playing for the annual Carnival festival,
and various Caribbean festivities. He played the electric guitar, sang and did toasting for the Reggae and Dance Hall repertoires.
Not satisfied with the progress of the band, the lifestyle and the support of the locals, Leo -Tan left Saint Maarten and travelled to Europe.
He ended up in The Netherlands and started singing and performing in church again.
Ever since then Leo-Tan has been active in the music scene, and is engaged in numerous projects.
Leo-Tan has performed
in Austria, Bermuda, Belgium, England, Germany, Paris, Spain, Suriname, Sweden and numerous
states in The Netherlands. Leo-Tan has shared the stage with some major reggae artists such as Gregory Isaacs,
I Wayne, Tony-Rebel, Junior Lion and many more foreign and local artists.
Leo-Tan feels it is time to shine his light for the world,
that the world may remember what God requires us to do, so we can be ready for His second coming.Major performancesAmsterdam - Live performance at Jimmy Woo
